Day 1
Your adventure will begin when we collect you from the airport José María Córdova and chauffeur you to your hotel, El Cielo en el Poblado, a five-star boutique hotel with all the comforts you deserve. After a warm welcome, you will be collected from the hotel to start the first tour of the Pablo Escobar museum. Pablo was the leader of the Medellín cartel in Colombia and one of the richest criminals in history. He was the world’s largest cocaine manufacturer and distributor, responsible for up to 80% of the global cocaine trade. This museum belongs to his eldest nephew Nicolás Escobar. It will be a guided tour which will include external visits to the properties of the Escobar family as well as Pablo’s escape area in case of persecution, places frequented by Pablo, area of the demolished Monaco Building which is now the Park of Inflexion, the main house of Pablo, the place where Pablo’s favourite nephew was kidnapped and the Montesacro Cemetery (the tomb of Pablo, his associates, family and friends). Once the tour is over, we will return you to your hotel.
Day 2
We will collect you from your hotel El Cielo en el Poblado to visit the majestic Piedra del Peñol, a 220 metre high monolith located in Guatapé, Antioquia. This adventure begins with the ascent of this large block of rock that allows you to have an incredible panoramic view of unique landscapes from the top. Once you complete this mission, a helicopter will be waiting for you to enjoy a 360º perspective of the unique area ending with a lunch in Bosko, Then you will explore the lake by boat. There will also be time to explore by walk the village of Los Zócalos, this is a beautiful town full of colors. At the wind-up of the tour, we will return you to your hotel, El Cielo en el Poblado.
Day 3
The adventure does not end there! We will collect you from the hotel El Cielo en el Poblado to explore and give way to direct interaction with one of the most important locations that played a leading role in the most violent period of Colombian history and today is considered as a rescued sector for tourism. This is the famous commune 13 in Medellín, a place that keeps violent events and hundreds of events that marked the history of Colombia, but that were delegated to the new generations who have been responsible for rescuing it through the technique of graffiti, dance and music which makes this neighbourhood an impressive exhibition space that brings together history, culture and art. At the close of the tour, we will return you to the hotel, El Cielo en el Poblado.
Day 4
The end of this enriching experience has arrived. We will collect you from the hotel El Cielo en el Poblado and transfer you to José María Córdova airport with the final destination being El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá.
